By using ScanSpot you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you use ScanSpot on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
ScanSpot provides free browser-based utilities — file converters, text and developer tools, calculators, reference lookups — and an AI-assisted business location evaluation. The tools are provided as-is, without any service level agreement.

You keep all rights to the files and text you process. For the tools that run in your browser, we never receive your content at all. For the tools that call a server, we claim no licence over your content beyond what is needed to return a result, and we do not store it.
The AI Location Evaluation and the AI writing tools produce generated text. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and it may present plausible-sounding figures that are estimates rather than measured data.
Nothing produced by ScanSpot is financial, legal, tax, accounting or real-estate advice. A location evaluation is one input among many — you are responsible for your own due diligence, including verifying rent, foot traffic, licensing and zoning with the relevant authorities and professionals. Do not make a decision with significant financial consequences on the strength of a generated report alone.
Some tools depend on external services: exchange rates, market quotes, weather forecasts, package tracking, map data and language models. Those services are outside our control. We do not warrant their accuracy, availability or fitness for any purpose, and quotes may be delayed. Market and currency data in particular is informational only and is not suitable for trading or accounting decisions.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, or that any defect will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanSpot and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site — even if we have been advised such damage is possible. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
We may add, change, suspend or remove any tool at any time without notice. We may also update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. Continuing to use the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
The ScanSpot name, logo, site design and source code are our property. The tools are offered for use, not for redistribution. Content you create with the tools remains yours.
