Count, diff, re-case, preview markdown, draft slugs - the everyday text work of a writing day.
The everyday text work of writing day: how many words, what changed between two drafts, what the markdown looks like before you paste it into the CMS. None of it leaves the page until you copy it out, which matters when the draft is not yet ready for anyone else to see.
Each card below is a page in its own right - it walks through what the tool does for Writers, bloggers and content teams, why you would reach for it over the alternatives, and answers the questions that come up most often. Click through to use the tool, or read the page first to decide which one fits.
No. Word-counting, case-conversion, text-diffing, markdown-preview and slug generation happen entirely in your browser. The only tool in this group that asks a server for anything is the AI summary / translator, and that sends only the text you select when you click the button.
The counter counts whitespace-separated tokens by default, which works well for English, French, German and most European languages. For CJK languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) it falls back to a character count, with an estimate against the most common "word = 2 characters" rule.
It strips URL-unsafe characters, lowercases, collapses repeated separators and turns spaces into hyphens. For accents (umlaut, cedilla, etc.) it offers a transliteration step so the URL is still readable by humans in any locale.
