How to use the Timer & Stopwatch
- Enter hours, minutes and seconds, or click a preset such as 5, 10 or 25 minutes.
- Press Start. The display is deliberately oversized so you can read it from across the room.
- When the countdown reaches zero an alarm sounds. Pause, resume or reset at any point.

Frequently asked questions
Will the alarm still fire if I switch tabs?
Yes. The countdown computes the remaining time from an absolute timestamp, so switching tabs or locking the screen does not lose seconds. Keep the tab open so the sound can play.
Can I run several timers at once?
Open the tool in a second browser tab. Each tab keeps its own independent timer and alarm.
Why can I not hear the alarm?
Browsers block audio playback until the user interacts with the page. Press Start — a real click — and the sound is unlocked for that tab.
