๐ Date Calc
Work out the number of days between two dates, or add and subtract days, weeks, months and years from a starting date.
How to use the Date Calc
- Pick a start date, then either choose an end date or enter an offset.
- The tool returns the difference, or the resulting date.
- Both inclusive and exclusive counts are shown so you can match whichever convention you need.
Why people use it
- Answers questions like how many days remain until a deadline, or what date falls 90 days from today, without counting on a calendar.
- Handles months and years properly instead of assuming 30-day months.
- Useful for contract terms, notice periods and project schedules.
Frequently asked questions
Does it count the end date?
Both figures are shown. An inclusive count includes the start and the end day; an exclusive count covers only the days between them. Which is correct depends on the convention in your contract or jurisdiction.
How are months handled?
A month is a calendar month, not 30 days. Adding one month to 31 January gives 28 February, and the tool clamps rather than rolling forward into March.
Does it account for daylight saving?
The difference is measured in whole calendar days. That avoids the off-by-one you get when subtracting timestamps across a clock change.
