QR Code Generator for Small Business

Generate QRs for storefronts, table tents, packaging, and product cards.

The everyday operating tools of a one-to-five-person business: shrink a product photo for the marketplace, generate a QR code for the storefront, check the exchange rate before quoting a customer, generate UUIDs for an import, summarize a competitor blog post, count the words on a product description. Cheap, fast, and your inventory photos never leave your device.

What it does for Small business owners and solo operators

How to use it

  1. Paste the URL or text the QR should encode. The size slider rescales the preview without re-encoding the underlying data.
  2. Pick the foreground color (background should be light for camera readability) and the corner radius (more rounded looks softer in print).
  3. Download the PNG at the resolution the destination needs. A 2-color print does not need 4096px, a product label does.

Common questions

How large should a printed QR code be?

A common working rule is at least 2x2cm for scanning a table tent at arm’s length, and noticeably larger for a shop window or a poster you scan from a few metres away. Leave the empty margin around the code intact - it is part of the symbol, not decoration.

Do these QR codes expire or need a subscription?

No. They encode your URL directly, so they keep working with no account and no monthly fee. The trade-off: you cannot change the destination later - a new URL means a new code.

Should I use a short link in the QR code?

Short links let you change the destination and count scans, at the cost of depending on a third-party service staying online. For a menu or a storefront sign, a plain URL on your own domain is the more durable choice.
