๐ฑ QR Code
Turn a link, a block of text, a Wi-Fi password or contact details into a QR code you can download as PNG or SVG.
How to use the QR Code
- Choose the content type and enter your data.
- Adjust the size and the error-correction level.
- Download the code as PNG for screens, or SVG for print.
Why people use it
- SVG output scales to any size without pixelation, which is what you want for a poster or a product label.
- Higher error correction keeps a code scannable on a curved surface or when part of it is covered.
- Codes are generated in the browser, so the link you encode is not recorded anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
How big should a printed QR code be?
Roughly one tenth of the expected scanning distance. For a poster read from three metres, the code should be about 30 centimetres across.
Why does my QR code stop scanning?
The usual causes are too little contrast, a quiet zone that has been cropped away, or a logo placed over the code. Keep a clear margin and use dark modules on a light background.
Can I track how many times it was scanned?
Not with a static code. Tracking requires a short link that redirects, which means a third-party service and a dependency on it staying online.
