Frequently asked questions
What counts as a word when converting to camelCase?
Spaces, hyphens, underscores and punctuation are all treated as word boundaries. 'user profile image', 'user-profile-image' and 'user_profile_image' all become userProfileImage.
Is Title Case the same in every style guide?
No. AP, Chicago and APA disagree about short prepositions and conjunctions. This tool capitalises the first letter of each significant word, which suits headings and headlines.
Does it change my punctuation?
No. Only letter casing changes, so commas, quotation marks and line breaks survive untouched.
