What it does for Marketing and growth teams

How to use it

  1. Paste the campaign or article title. The slug updates as you type so you can iterate.
  2. Toggle transliteration on if the title contains accents you want stripped. Toggle stopword removal on for cleaner-looking URLs ("the best X" -> "best-x").
  3. Copy the slug. The page also shows the URL with common prefix patterns so you can sanity-check it in context.

Common questions

Should I change a URL slug once the page is live?

Only if there is no alternative. If you do, add a permanent redirect from the old address to the new one - renaming without a redirect discards whatever links and history the page had earned.

Hyphens or underscores?

Hyphens. Search engines read a hyphen as a word separator and an underscore as part of a single word, so campaign-launch and campaign_launch are not read the same way.

Should campaign pages share the same path structure as product pages?

Keep them separate and predictable, for example /campaigns/ rather than mixing them into the product tree. Reporting, redirects and future routing all get easier when the two never collide.
